Ten years after tragedy forced the teenage lovers apart, Moon and Vina, for reasons of their own, return home to Batu Suara. A small sleepy community where nothing much ever happens, famous locally for a traditional pain relief ointment. Moon's father, the eccentric Dr. Mansoor's research into the medicinal benefits of this traditional medicine is starting to gain international attention and Vina has returned to help him. It was Mansoor's work that brought Moon, Vina, their friends and families together.

Moon's joy at finally finding Vina, soon turns to dismay as the years apart have made them strangers. The shy loving girl Moon remembers from his youth has been replaced by a strong independent elegant woman.

Vina, warm and friendly to their friends is distant towards Moon and there is an additional barrier, Mark, Vina's fiancee. She has never gotten over the pain of lsing her mother, and coming to Batu Suara proves to be a journey of slelf-discovery. After 10 years, Mansoor is again the catalyst that brings Moon and Vina together. But this time there is a barrier between them.

Suppressed frustration leads to a confrontation between Moon and Vina creating a situation both comical and touching. Vina finally lets her guard down when a 'Spanish madness' hits the town. Batu Suara weaves its magic that is 'healing' for both of them.
