The fact that his childhood sweetheart, Olivia, is blind and as tight-fisted as they come doesn't stop him from marrying her and setting up a home together 15 years later.

A house in the center of a remote valley where the Northern Express Train passes only once every twenty-five years, is the place where Mr. and Mrs. P. Tinto eagerly await the arrival of their offspring.

But the years go by and no one appears...

Fifty-years later, when they are both past their prime and have given up all hope of parenthood, something happens that changes their lives forever... A miracle perhaps?
